Manuscripts - III02
Nâgarî fragments (from a total of about 70 folios, plus 150 newari folios). All in a single bundle, most of them torn, a couple of them look as if freshly torn. Perhaps someone thought it would be best to separate the folios to sell them separately, or that it would look "better" with different folios. On the other hand, this type of bundle is not often seen in the Kathmandu valley shops. And when it is, the bargain seems to suggest that the demand for such object is quite low, as opposed to tibetan pechas. Still, it is sad to see manuscripts lying on the floor of some shops (some selling vegetables !)...
